Adocia's insulins formulations portfolio, featuring five products in clinical stage and three in preclinical stage, is among the largest and most differentiated in the industry.

Your mission

ADOCIA is recruiting an Experienced Patent Engineer f / m for its Industrial Property department in Lyon.

Within the Intellectual Property department, and along with the department manager and an external firm, you will work closely with the various R&D departments and the Business Development department in order to best protect Adocia’s innovations.

To that end, your tasks will include:

  • Patentability studies and patent applications
  • Supervising patent acquiring processes and defending them in France and abroad
  • Managing the existing patents’ portfolio

You will also be responsible for ensuring the freedom to operate of products developed by ADOCIA. To do this, you will have to:

  • Identify relevant patents and patent applications
  • Analyze the validity and scope of the rights conferred by said patents and patent applications
  • Develop strategies to implement in order to improve Adocia’s position regarding these patents and patent applications



Expected profile

Expertise in the Intellectual Property field and chemistry technical knowledge are essential. Knowledge in biology would be an advantage.

An experience of at least 5 years in a firm / company or being a European authorized representative (at least partially qualified) is required.

Fluent English necessary.

Reliable, rigorous, organized, and reactive, you have analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a good sense of initiative.
